Overlook - CDE akola 2018

"When beauty is power ,smile is a sword " starting with  superb lines a clinical learning session of facial aesthetics was introduced in the continuing dental education program at Akola. on 23rd of December 2018 the program was inaugurated by the president of Indian Dental Association Akola branch Dr Parag Ingole ,honorary secretary Dr Abhishek Tidke CDE conveyor Dr.A.heda and Dr.Nisha Kundu ,Pune speaker for the session .Saraswati Pujan and the Deepprajwalan was performed in the beginning. Holding the procession of the session with a graceful voice Dr. Chetna Mankar anchored the presentation of the session. The respected dignitaries Dr Parag Ingole, president with  honorary secretary Dr Abhishek Tidke and continuing dental education conveyor Dr Anant heda  with the chief guest Dr Nisha Kundu were present on the stage. Dr.parag ingole stressed the importance of learning sessions for the dental practitioners and expressed a appreciation to the speakers on behalf of members  for bringing new opportunities for all . the eminent speaker Dr Nisha Kundu Pune was welcomed by Dr Abhishek Tidke with a bouquet. all the participants were awarded 6 CDE points to their credit with  Certificate after registration. the concept of cosmetic clinics or aesthetic clinics was excellently put forward in the session and why dentist are at the  best position ? was explained to the all as a dentists .we are well trained professionals when the orofacial region is concerned along with the best working hands in the orofacial region. the new horizon of facial aesthetics is now open for the dental professionals and one can look now for a different career options or  perspectives in their life. all the information regarding the training of the facial aesthetics, practicing the procedures along with the memberships of the aesthetic or plastic surgeons of India were correctly explained in detail. apart from this an excellent discussion in between the speakers and the participants was noted. the questions that came up in the minds were asked and the excellent answers to  related questions were given which  somethings are surely to learn from the session. some questions like what are the economic aspects of the Botox application ? is there any sensitivity test for the fillers or Botox as with lignocaine ?or is there any sort of deterioration of the Complaints if the patient is unable to visit the clinic again? or is there any need for the nerve blocks or local anaesthetic for Botox injections ? and how the Botox is metabolized into the human body ? were asked and very valuable discussions  regarding the topic was achieved .all these questions showed the great enthusiasm from the participants. everybody was very much excited and engaged in the session and to see a demonstration of botox  application  a volunteer was chosen  . the Anatomical landmarks for injecting Botox injections along with the danger zones of face which has to be avoided were demonstrated . Armamentarium for the Botox injections was shown in the demonstration the clinical learning session proved a great opportunity for the all the participants to learn, discuss, think about the latest advancements of facial aesthetic and which are less known treatment. Dr. Nisha Kundu was awarded with a certificate of appreciation from the indian dental association  branch Akola and wished a very  good luck and best for her future.  The  chairpersons for the session were senior dental practitioners Dr. Rashmi jawalekar and Dr. Chandrani . the second session after the lunch was started with the topic of reaching patients online and offline, that is how to use social media platforms. Dr Pranav agale ,founder of the dentist friend was the speaker . The chairpersons present were dr . Anant heda and dr. Tushar rothe.

very much neglected but  the  most important part of the dental treatment is the diagnosis .the teeth, the apical area, bones  along with the surrounding structures are best possible imagined with the 3D Diagnostic equipments. now the cone beam computerized tomography opened a new way of thinking for dental practitioners when the diagnosis is concerned .multiple  cases of Bony pathologies of upper and lower jaw along with the variation of the mandibular nerve in case of third molars and also the odontomes, failed root canal treated  radiological slides of showing exact culprit among the differential diagnosis based on clinical findings were noted . Aptly  explained by  Dr Anurag Chaudhary  oral radiologist from Nagpur.
